The HMR 2025 Mixed Event will take place on Sunday 13 July 2025 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. The events offered are given in the table below. There will be capacity for approximately 60 crews to participate, hence the limited number of events.
Entries will open in BROE on Monday 26 May 2025 at 12:00 BST and will now be suspended on Monday 2 June 2025 at 12:00 BST. Demand is currently similar to capacity and we are now filling up the last slots. Please note, all entries must be paid for in BROE (no payment = no entry) and unpaid entries will not be included in the ballot should one take place. There will be no Waitlist and no doubling up. Composite crews will be allowed.

FAQ:
1. What are the rules of the HMR Mixed Event?
As per the Rules of British Rowing, the Mixed Event will combine men and women rowers in a crew with a minimum number of women included (50%). In mixed crews, men and women may retain the racing strip they would normally wear.
2. Why are you not simply extended the HMR Main Event this year?
We only found out about the opportunity to extend the regatta to the Sunday very recently and there is not enough time ahead of the competition to simply extend the Main Event this year. In 2026, the Main Event will run from Heats on the Friday to Finals on the Sunday across the board.
3. Do I need to be superfast entering to get a place?
Entries in the HMR Mixed Event will remain open for 5 days and everyone who enters and pays for their entry within those 5 days will have equal chances of a place in the HMR 2025 Mixed Event. If demand exceeds supply, a ballot will be held after those 5 days.
4. Are you planning to run mixed events in the future?
We are not anticipating running mixed events in the future and anticipate that this will be a one-off HMR Mixed Event.
5. Can I enter a mixed 2x?
At the moment, we are limiting the HMR Main Event to 4x and 8+ as there is only space for approximately 60 crews and we want to maximise individual participation.
6. Why do the events only go up to Mas F?
As there is only space for approximately 60 crews, it is only possible to offer a limited number of events. If your crew exceeds Mas F in age, please feel free to enter Mas F.
7. Can I enter a composite crew in the HMR 2025 Mixed Event?
